Your First Korean Facial in Auckland: Which Treatment Fits You?

Your first Korean facial does not need to begin with a long list of products or the most advanced device on the menu. Start with what you would enjoy: hands-on facial massage, a Gua Sha ritual, or a facial that includes a device-based step. Then discuss your skin, preferences and recent treatments before choosing.

At YUNARA Korean Skin Studio, Vicky offers private, women-only appointments in Browns Bay and Glenfield / Wairau Valley on Auckland’s North Shore. This guide helps you compare a few starting points and plan your visit.

What is a Korean facial at YUNARA?

“Korean facial” is a broad description, so the individual treatment details matter. Our menu combines Korean skincare with different forms of hands-on and device care. Depending on the service, your appointment may include cleansing, décolleté care around the neck and shoulders, facial massage, ampoule care and a finishing mask.

Included steps vary by service. Read the description for the service you select, and tell Vicky about the type of experience you want.

Three questions to ask yourself

1. What would I like from the experience?

You might prefer a quiet appointment focused on hands-on care, or be curious about how a device fits into a facial. Share your preferences, including the pressure you find comfortable. You can ask for an explanation of a step before it begins.

2. How has my skin been feeling?

Tell Vicky about sensitivity, discomfort, product reactions and recent procedures. Bring the names of your regular skincare products, particularly prescribed products. If you have an unexplained rash or persistent symptoms, seek advice from an appropriate health professional before planning cosmetic care.

3. Which studio fits my week?

Browns Bay is at 8 Inverness Road, with appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Glenfield / Wairau Valley is at 75 View Road, inside YES Acupuncture Clinic on the first floor, with appointments on Tuesday and Thursday.

Choose the studio first, then check its treatment menu. Some options are offered at one location only.

How booking works

Choose your studio and service on the YUNARA website, then use the booking button to select an available time in Setmore. A 20% deposit currently secures your appointment; the balance is paid in person by EFTPOS, card or cash. Please check the booking policy before confirming.

If you are unsure which service to select, use our visit and booking guide to contact Vicky first. It helps to mention your preferred studio and the sort of care you enjoy.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to start with an advanced treatment?

No. Start with a discussion about your skin and preferences. A more complex appointment is not automatically the right first choice.

Can I ask for lighter pressure?

Yes. Tell Vicky what feels comfortable and speak up during the appointment if you want the pressure adjusted.

Can I collect skincare when I visit?

Product collection is arranged separately from a treatment booking and is available at Browns Bay only. Wait for our text confirming collection arrangements before visiting.
